Blog Jog Day!
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I’m a published short story writer making the transition to aspiring novelist and my blog is a chronicle of my journey, part personal experience and part information-sharing. Please explore all this Blog has to offer, then jog on over to The Orbs of Wonder. If you would like to visit a different Blog in the jog, go to Blog Jog Day.
Good luck with your novel writing, Lisa.
ReplyDeleteInteresting points of view in your post about choosing markets.
ReplyDeleteI always felt behind the eight ball trying to do short stories because "knowing the magazine" meant having to actually buy copies and that got to be expensive when one considered there might be 20 such magazines to explore for prospective submissions.

I have enjoyed reading your posts and would love to continue to follow you as your strive to reach your next goals!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck,
Melissa

ReplyDeleteBest of luck on the contest. I know how it feels to wait on edge to see if you're going to get a contract. I really think your premise sounded interesting and cast a vote for your work. Good luck again and thanks for joining Jog Blog Day.

ReplyDeleteThank you also for all the great comments. I'm looking forward to checking out those whose blogs I haven't yet discovered.
Malcolm, I understand what you mean about knowing the markets getting expensive. Having been immersed in the short fiction markets for so long, I actually have some thoughts on that so you've given me a great idea for a post!
Holli, thank you SO much for your vote!
